Tours

We have prepared an offer of additional tours with our partner company. We invite you to an extraordinary adventure through the picturesque areas of Iceland on kayak and bicycle tours!

Glacier tour

Adult and child 13+: 12,000 ISK
Child under 13: 9,000 ISK
The tour takes place on the Sólheimajökull glacier, between the Skógafoss waterfall and the famous Reynisfjara black beach. We meet at the parking lot, equip you with the necessary equipment (crampons, ice-checks, harnesses and helmets) and set off towards the glacier. The walk takes about 15 minutes before we reach the head of the glacier and the place where we will put on the crampons. It is there that all safety rules are explained and training in the use of the equipment takes place. After a few minutes or so, we head out onto the ice. We will spend a minimum of 1h on the glacier. The walking time depends on the weather conditions. Usually 1-1.5h. On the tour we hike on the face of the glacier, avoiding glacial crevasses and stopping at such places so that everyone can take a unique ice selfie. During the tour we will try to see the most interesting glacial formations, but as befits the Island of Ice and Fire we will also learn about the surrounding volcanoes. There will be no shortage of interesting facts or answers to even the most inquisitive questions. The entire tour, including dress and introductions, takes about 2-3 hours and is accessible to all physically fit people (the oldest people were 84 years old! The youngest 10 years old).
Additional requirement - shoe size in the range of 34-48.
Min 4os We guarantee that we will not leave anyone out in the cold.

Glacier guide - Szczepan Lizęga

Szczepan wandered around the world for years visiting almost 80 countries, until he finally hit the hard ice, unbreakable and literally! The land of ice and fire (we're talking about Iceland!) absorbed him completely. So much so that he settled there permanently. Since 2017, he has been guiding tourists around the glaciers by day and on long Icelandic winter evenings he creates a board game about Iceland - the first tourist guide and trip planner you can play - Ring Routes. He comes down to Poland only occasionally to talk about the disappearing ice giants.

Canoe trip

Adult and child 13+: 12,000 ISK
Child under 13: 7,000 ISK
The tour takes place on the fjord "Berufjordur". We meet in Djupivogur, equip you with the necessary equipment (dry suits, boots, gloves, life vests) and set off to the kayaks. The tour route is about 3-4 km and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. On the tour, we sail out into the open fjord together with a guide. During the tour we will try to see local wildlife, learn about the history of Iceland and the area, local trivia and try to answer any questions you may have. The entire tour, including dress and introductions, takes about 2-2.5 hours.

Bike tour

The bicycle tour route is selected individually to suit the clients, fitness and the day. Along the way we will learn about the history of the area and Iceland, visit viewpoints and interesting places around Djupivogur (beach, elf church, Lupin fields, etc.).
The meeting place is Hammersminni 1 in Djupivogur, where we will equip you with bicycles, helmets and reflective vests. Tour time is about 2h (at least 1.5h on the bike).
